Job Description:
As a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts, Step Teachers are looking for Resistant Materials Teacher, starting after the February half term. This is a full time Resistant Materials Teacher role and they school are looking for someone who can teach across all years groups until the end of the academic year. The role is at a Secondary School near Welwyn Garden City and there is the potential of this Resistant Materials Teacher role becoming permanent at the discretion of the school.

Resistant Materials Teacher Role:
- Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Resistant Materials curriculum
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Maintain a well organised classroom and ensure the safe use, maintenance and storage of all equipment
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Resistant Materials Teacher Requirement:
- Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification
- Have experience as a Resistant Materials Teacher in a mainstream school
- A relevant Resistant Materials or Design Technology related degree is desirable
- SEND experience is desirable
