External Account Manager

Are you a talented client facing account manager with a passion for building strong client relationships and a knack for spotting new business opportunities? Do you have 3+ years experience working in the labels industry? If your answers are ‘yes’ and ‘yes’, this might be the next step in your career.
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven External Account Manager to work in key role in driving the business forward. You will be field/home based, 75% of your role will be to manage and grow existing accounts, these for vary in value from £20,000 up to £100,000. The other 25% will be hunting for new business opportunities selling labels into end user clients across a range of industries including but not limited to: manufacturing, cosmetics, food (non-food contact), drinks and chemicals.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and Grow Existing Clients (75%): Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with our existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities to expand our partnerships.
- Drive New Business (25%): Proactively seek out and close new business opportunities to grow the client base.
- Be on the Move: With this field-based role, you’ll regularly meet clients face-to-face, so a full UK driving license is essential.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience of working within a label manufacturing environment
- Proven success in account management, ideally with experience managing and growing mid-to-high value accounts.
- Excellent client facing interpersonal and communication skills are a must
- Strong track record in growing existing accounts and securing new business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Self-motivated and organised
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
