About the Role of R.E Teacher:
Step Teachers seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education (R.E) Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Norwich. This exciting opportunity involves teaching R.E across KS3 and KS4, as well as A-Level Philosophy. The role is to cover a long-term maternity leave, with the start date yet to be confirmed but likely to be in February. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons, fostering a love for philosophical inquiry and ethical reflection among students. Key Responsibilities of a R.E Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in R.E and A-Level Philosophy.
• Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
• Assess, record, and report on the progress of students.
• Contribute to the development of departmental resources and curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements of a R.E Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching R.E across KS3 and KS4.
• Experience or strong subject knowledge in A-Level Philosophy.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
