Job Description:
Class Act Teaching Services are the leading supply teaching agency in Oxfordshire and we are working with a Secondary School in Witney who are looking for a Supply Teacher for general cover. The school are looking for someone on Thursday's and Friday's starting as soon as possible until at least the end of term. The Supply Teacher role will involve being flexible to cover pre-planned lessons across the curriculum.
The vision and aims of this Secondary School is to provide a quality of education that inspires the next generation. This includes advocating the values of positivity and resilience and encouraging a drive for progression and growth.
School Supply Teacher Role:
- To lead a class as a supply teacher and keep students on task
- Able to deliver lesson's which are pre-planned by the timetabled teacher
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff
- Comply with and implement the schools’ policies effectively
School Supply Teacher Role:
- Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification to teach at Secondary School
- Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Secondary School
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- Experience working with SEND is desirable
