Step Teachers are looking for an Art Teacher for a role in Plymouth for a day-to-day Supply basis  .Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Plymouth and have a long standing relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area. This Art Teacher role is a Supply role which will start in Feb 2025.

Art Teacher Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Art curriculum
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom
• Confidence when using Art equipment and resources
• Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons tailored to the development of the individuals
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Art Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
• Have recent school-based experience as an Art Teacher at Secondary School level.
• A relevant Art related degree is desirable
• SEND/SEMH experience is desirable
