Contract Type:  English Teacher, Temporary Supply Role (This is a 4day per week role with Friday being a day off )

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join a vibrant school community in a long-term supply role which is set to start in March 2025.

Key Responsibilities of an English Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
• Contribute to the school community, including participation in staff meetings and collaborative planning sessions.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.

The Ideal English Teacher Will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to delivering excellence in education.
• Have a current DBS check on the update service or be willing to undergo a new DBS application.
