Location: Portsmouth

Job type: Contract, 3 months on-going

Rate: £12.69- £13.80 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: 

Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-12:30

We are seeking a skilled Press Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing client.

Press Machine Operator Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain press machinery to manufacture high-quality parts.
• Set up press machines, load materials, and monitor production throughout the shift.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or operational issues.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment.

Press Machine Operator skills and experiences:

• Previous experience operating press machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• De-burring experience is ideal.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes.
