Production Coordinator – Print & Display
Location: Watford, Herts
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum

We are working with a well-established and growing print and display production company that supplies high-quality solutions across various industries. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative and creative projects, they are looking for a Production Coordinator to join their team.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of jobs throughout the production process, ensuring they are managed efficiently from start to finish. It is not a managerial position overseeing the entire production department but rather a hands-on coordination role, ensuring smooth workflow between departments and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and track jobs through each stage of production, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicate any production challenges or obstacles to the Head of Production and Sales Manager.
  • Assess stock levels and order materials as needed, keeping projects within budget.
  • Plan materials and machine usage to meet customer specifications and finishing requirements.
  • Monitor quality control throughout the production process, identifying and resolving any issues.
  • Maintain and update production planning worksheets to ensure target completion dates are achieved.
  • Brief production staff at each stage, ensuring quality standards are upheld.
  • Conduct final checks before dispatch, confirming correct items and quantities.
  • Arrange courier collections and update tracking systems for deliveries.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in print production processes.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising between production, sales, and management teams.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and production planning software.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to take initiative.
