Job Description:
This is a supportive and inclusive primary school committed to providing a high-quality education for all pupils. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher to join their team and inspire their pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Year 5/6 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that prepare pupils for Key Stage 3.
- Support pupils' academic and personal development, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Plan and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.
Ideal Year 5/6 Teacher:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Has experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally in Years 5 and 6.
- Is passionate about engaging and motivating pupils.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies as a Year 5/6 Teacher.
- Is committed to teamwork and professional development.
