Job Description:
This is a friendly and inclusive school dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for all pupils. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. This role begins March 2024.
Duties as an HLTA:
- Support and deliver planned lessons across different year groups.
- Provide targeted intervention and support to individuals and small groups.
- Assist in the planning and assessment of pupils' progress.
- Cover classes in the absence of the class teacher.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Help to manage classroom behaviour and provide pastoral support to pupils.
Ideal HLTA:
- Holds an HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Has experience working in a primary school setting.
- Is confident in delivering lessons and supporting learning.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills as an HLTA.
- Is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential.
