Duties as General Science Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3,4 and 5.
• Teach a combination of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Develop students’ understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills.
• Encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Use experiments, technology, and real-world examples to enhance learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the science curriculum.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as science clubs and trips.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching science in a primary/secondary school setting.
• Is passionate about making science engaging and accessible for all students.
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
• Is committed to professional development and teamwork.
