Duties as a Maths Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils’ progress and understanding.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular maths activities and events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance student learning.

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching maths.
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and a passion for the subject.
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• A commitment to high expectations and raising pupil attainment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
• Enthusiasm for developing innovative teaching approaches to engage students.
