We are seeking a Science/Maths Cover Teacher to provide engaging and effective lessons in the absence of permanent teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and enthusiastic educator to contribute to students' learning across two key subject areas. This role begins April 2025.

Duties as a Science/Maths Cover Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Science and Maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching materials to ensure students remain on track with their learning.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management skills.
• Encourage curiosity and problem-solving skills in both subjects.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.

Ideal Science/Maths Cover Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience in teaching or cover supervision.
• Strong knowledge of both the Science and Maths curriculum (KS3/KS4 preferred).
• The ability to quickly adapt to different classrooms and engage with students.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Science/Maths Cover Teacher.
• A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching.
• A commitment to high expectations and student success.
