Job Description:
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher who loves working with young children? This school is looking for an enthusiastic Reception Year Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive team. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for young learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all children feel safe and valued.
- Foster a love for learning through play-based and creative activities.
- Assess children’s progress, record observations, and provide feedback to parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to learning.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development, encouraging independence and confidence.
- Promote a strong home-school partnership by engaging with parents and carers regularly.
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Early Years, preferably in a Reception class.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a calm and focused learning environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Reception Year Teacher.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom.
