We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a school. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4, fostering critical thinking and a passion for the humanities. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Humanities Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Inspire students to develop analytical skills, cultural awareness, and a love for history, geography, and social studies.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and trips.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Humanities department.

• Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.

Ideal Humanities Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.

• Experience teaching Humanities subjects at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as Humanities Teacher.

• A commitment to student progress and achievement.

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
