A school in Norfolk is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and develop their understanding of history, geography, and other humanities subjects. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Humanities Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the humanities curriculum to students at a secondary level.

• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and enquiry-based learning

• Support students in developing their analytical, research, and writing skills

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum and extracurricular activities

• Organise educational trips and enrichment opportunities related to humanities subjects

Ideal Humanities Teacher:

• A degree in History, Geography, or a related humanities subject

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

• Experience teaching humanities subjects at a secondary level.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Humanities Teacher.

• Passionate about humanities and committed to inspiring students
