Job Description:
This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and develop their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the secondary maths curriculum (Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level)
Support students in developing strong numeracy, reasoning, and analytical skills
Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure lessons are accessible and engaging for all learners
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and department initiatives
Provide additional support and interventions where necessary to help students reach their full potential
Ideal Maths Teacher:
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Experience teaching maths at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4; A-Level experience is desirable)
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
