An extremely rare opportunity for a diligent, ambitious and customer service driven candidate to join one of Oxfordshire’s most prestigious independent Estate Agencies. My clients have a fantastic reputation and following another exciting period of growth are keen to add an Assistant Lettings Manager to their team.
The successful candidate will ideally have lettings experience, however the most important thing for my clients is to have a well-spoken, ambitious person who wants to excel in their role.
Assistant Lettings Manager – Benefits

Assistant Lettings Manager – Duties
- Drive revenue and look for new and innovative ways to increase overall lettings business
- Attending and instructing lettings valuations
- Assist the Lettings Manager with everything from lettings valuations through to viewings and some property management.
- Oversight of onboarding new stock
- Anticipate business needs and adapt accordingly
- Assisting with onboarding new team members
- Fostering a positive culture, motivating and leading by example
- Reviewing, analysing and improving process and procedure where necessary to optimise team and branch performance
- Cultivating and nurturing long lasting relationships with landlords and key stake holders
- Management of escalation with tenants and landlords
- Engaging in strategic conversations with the wider management team.
- Staying informed and up to date on legislation and upcoming changes
Assistant Lettings Manager – Experience Needed
- Previous experience in lettings is advantageous.
- You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
- Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented.
- Proven track record in driving business forward, managing risk, regulation, and generating new business.
- Excellent knowledge of the lettings process and legislation or be willing to learn.
- Able to motivate and lead by example
