Job Title: Electronics Assembler
Location: Portsmouth
Job Type: Ongoing Contract
Pay Rate: Up to £15 per hour PAYE / £19.80 umbrella (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Overtime: Plenty of overtime available at a premium! Time and a third on weekdays, time and a half on weekends.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronics Assembler to join a leading manufacturing company on a contract basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Electronics Assembler

• Full cable assembly, including harness and loom building

• PCB assembly

• Working from engineering drawings

• Adhering to IPC-620 and IPC-610 standards

Skills and Experience Required for the Electronics Assembler

• Previous experience in PCB assembly

• Cable and harness assembly expertise

• Familiarity with IPC-620 and IPC-610 standards (certification is a plus but not essential)

• Previous experience working to IPC-620 and IPC-610 guidelines is highly desirable
