Are you an experienced estimator in the packaging sector, looking for your next challenge?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established packaging manufacturer known for delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.

They’re now looking to add a detail-oriented and commercially aware Packaging Estimator to their growing team.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for packaging projects. This includes working closely with teams across sales and production to ensure costings are aligned with operational capabilities and customer expectations.

This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys using their industry knowledge to influence commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new business and ongoing projects
• Review job specs and recommend the most efficient production methods
• Calculate material, labour, and time costs
• Work with suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials and services
• Liaise with sales and production to ensure estimates are feasible and profitable
• Maintain accurate records using internal estimating tools and systems
• Support the sales team with pricing strategies and customer proposals

What You’ll Need

• Solid proven estimating experience within the print or packaging industry
• Strong knowledge of print processes, materials, and production workflows
• Must live in driving distance of Deeside/Flint region
• Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
