Duties as an English Teacher:

• Teach engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages KS3/KS4/KS5.

• Foster a classroom environment that encourages discussion, creativity, and independent thinking.

• Support students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.

• Mark, assess, and provide meaningful feedback to help students progress.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities like debating, book clubs, or school plays.

Ideal English Teacher:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Holds a degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related subject.

• Is passionate about literature, language, and literacy.

• Builds positive relationships with students and brings out their best.

• Works well as part of a collaborative, enthusiastic team as an English Teacher.
