A welcoming 1-form-entry primary school in Leyton are looking for a SEN Nursery Assistant to join their school to support a child in nursery with special educational needs.
The Role
As an SEN Nursery Assistant role you will be providing 1 to 1 support for a child with autism. The child in non-verbal and has recently received and EHCP.
The child requires support to develop communication through Makaton, accessing play-based activities safely and will require personal care support (changing/feeding etc)
The school are ideally looking for a Nursery Assistant who has worked with under-5s with special educational needs and a caring dedicated approach.
This role is to start immediately and the role is offered on an ongoing contract.
