Job Opportunity: Internal Sales Executive
Salary: Circa £28,000–£35,000
Location: Darwen

We’re looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join a leading national distributor based in Darwen. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role with a market leader that offers great benefits and a friendly, supportive team environment.

Ideal for candidates with builders’ merchant or trade sales backgrounds.

• Achieve sales targets (value, volume, and margin) for your designated area(s)

• Develop new accounts and nurture long-term client relationships

• Maintain professional communication via phone and email

• Manage the sales order process from start to finish

• Generate accurate quotes using pricing tools, optimization software, and CRM

• Provide regular sales reports and assist with stock purchasing

• Work closely with Warehouse & Distribution to meet customer expectations

• Attend team meetings and contribute to branch success

• Support a culture of safety and efficiency in both office and warehouse settings

• Proven sales track record, ideally in internal sales or trade environments

• Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills

• Motivated, energetic, and professional

• Team-oriented with a flexible and organized approach
