Field Service Engineer – Electrical Bias
Location: Field-based – UK-wide travel with occasional overseas work
Type: Permanent Salary circa £45,000 based on experience company vehicle package

We’re working with a UK market leader in the supply and servicing of high-end finishing, converting, and packaging machinery. As they continue to expand their technical service team, they’re looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias to install, maintain, and repair specialist equipment across their customer base.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality onsite service, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Installing and commissioning digital and finishing equipment
• Troubleshooting electrical faults – including work with PLCs, inverters, and software upgrades
• Supporting machinery off-loading and positioning, ensuring installations meet technical standards
• Providing customer training and clear service reporting
• Acting as an ambassador for the business on every client site

About You:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (or experience based equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified
• Previous experience servicing electro-mechanical systems or machinery
• Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of PLC systems
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally (with occasional overseas work)
