In this role, you'll be the go-to for everything payroll: owning end-to-end processing, tackling complex manual calculations, and keeping things compliant and smooth behind the scenes. You'll also dip into core HR admin — helping our people journey run effortlessly from start to finish.

What you'll do:

• Run accurate, on-time payroll (high volume)

• Nail manual calculations — confidently and correctly

• Keep records tidy and data watertight

• Work closely with teams across the business

• Handle queries like a payroll pro — quick, clear, and helpful

• Stay sharp on UK legislation and compliance

• Own pension scheme admin and provider liaison

What you bring:

• Proven experience in payroll, especially manual calculations

• Strong UK payroll knowledge and up-to-date on regulations

• Excel-savvy (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables etc.)

• Organised, methodical, and laser-focused on the details

• Great communicator with a problem-solving mindset

• Confident with payroll systems and HR processes
