A lovely primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a dedicated learning support assistant to join them in September.

The Role

This is a SEN support role split across two children. One child that will be in Year 2 in September, has an EHCP application in progress. She needs support with behaviour and her SEMH needs which can, at times, mean she finds it challenging to be on an adult agenda and follow adult instructions. The other child in September, will be in Year 5 and needs a high level of support with his behaviour and learning. Both children have a highly personalised curriculum.

The school are looking for someone reliable, that can commit to working five days to give the children consistency, and that has initiative/ability to use a range of strategies to engage and redirect children to positive choices. Clear expectations, but with a positive approach are also essential requirements. 

This is a full-time position to start in September for the whole academic year.
