Prototype Fabricator Welder – MIG & TIG

Nuneaton (CV10) Up to £18.00/hr Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–12:30

Work on projects where no two days (or parts) are the same.
We’re partnering with a cutting-edge sheet metal manufacturer based in Nuneaton, known for their high-quality prototypes, advanced machinery, and one-off metal fabrication work. They’re on the lookout for a skilled Prototype Fabricator Welder to join their specialist team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fabricating one-off and low-volume components from drawings
  • MIG and TIG welding (mild steel, stainless, aluminium)
  • Working from technical sketches and CAD designs
  • Assembling bespoke parts for new product development
  • Collaborating with design and engineering teams on prototype builds

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding

  • A methodical and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your finish

What’s On Offer

  • Up to £18.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Straight day shifts: Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday early finish at 12:30
  • Long-term position with a modern, well-equipped engineering business
  • Exposure to varied and interesting projects across sectors
  • On-site parking, clean environment, and a supportive, forward-thinking team
