Were working with a long-established engineering firm in Nottingham that supplies large-scale fabrications to the defence, aerospace, petrochemical, and energy sectors. They're now looking to bring in a motivated Junior Estimator to support their commercial team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates for fabricated metalwork
• Reading engineering drawings and technical documents
• Liaising with engineers, buyers, and workshop teams to gather costing information
• Producing quote breakdowns for materials, labour, and subcontracted services
• Learning how to manage enquiries from initial contact through to final submission

What You'll Need

• Some experience in a fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read or interpret basic technical drawings
• A methodical approach with solid maths and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and progress within a growing commercial team
• IT confidence Excel, Word, and ideally some exposure to CAD or ERP systems
