Flat Entrance Door Carpenter – Social Housing Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join a reputable social housing maintenance contractor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves carrying out flat entrance door installations and repairs within occupied residential properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with fire safety and building regulations.

• Install, repair, and replace flat entrance and fire-rated doorsets.

• Undertake general carpentry and joinery maintenance tasks as required.

• Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and building standards.

• Work efficiently and professionally in occupied properties, maintaining excellent tenant relationships.

• Complete all required job documentation accurately and on time.

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry/Joinery.

• Proven experience fitting flat entrance and fire doors in social housing or similar environments.

• Strong understanding of fire safety and door compliance standards.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail.

• £40,000 per annum.

• 12-month fixed term contract with the potential for extension.

• 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
