KS1 Teacher – Part-time, Thursdays and Fridays from January 2026 until February half termThis short-term opportunity is ideal for a KS1 Teacher seeking a part-time role in a supportive and well-led school environment. Pupils are enthusiastic and enjoy learning, and staff feel valued and well supported by leadership. The curriculum is broad and ambitious, with a strong emphasis on reading and phonics. Behaviour is positive, and safeguarding is effective.Duties as KS1 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to support pupil development
• Maintain accurate records of pupil attainment and behaviour
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS1 or primary settings
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Committed to pupil progress and well-being
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a KS1 Teacher
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
