Cover Supervisor – Day-to-day supply across Faringdon and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for Cover Supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be stepping into classrooms to deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
• Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Provide support and guidance to students during lessons
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and engagement
• Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an educational or youth setting
• Confident in managing classroom behaviour and engaging students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Cover Supervisors
• Adaptable and able to work across a range of subjects and year groups
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A proactive and professional approach to supporting teaching and learning
