SEND Learning Support Assistant – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Learning Support Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in mainstream and specialist provisions across Brentford and the surrounding areas.Duties as SEND Learning Support Assistant:

• Support pupils with SEND in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual needs
• Assist the class teacher in implementing EHCP targets and differentiated activities
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Liaise with SENCO and other professionals to support pupil progress
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal SEND Learning Support Assistant:

• Proven experience supporting children with SEND in school settings
• Understanding of a range of special educational needs and strategies to support them
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEND Learning Support Assistant
• Ability to work flexibly across different age groups and learning needs
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A proactive, patient and professional approach to supporting pupils
