Reception Year Teacher – Full-time, long-term position from January 2026 until July 2026 (with possible extension to December 2026)We are seeking an experienced Reception Year Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
• Work closely with support staff and parents to promote holistic development
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth through play-based learning
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reports and meetings

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Early Years settings, preferably Reception
• Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Reception Year Teacher
• Passionate about early education and creating positive learning experiences
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
