Sales Administrator 

An organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join a team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the National Sales Manager and the wider sales function by managing day-to-day administrative tasks, processing orders, maintaining CRM records, and ensuring smooth operations from initial enquiry through to post-sale follow-up. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide direct administrative support to the National Sales Manager and wider sales team. 
  • Accurately process sales orders, quotations, and customer details. 
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in CRM systems – experience with ForceManager software is highly desirable. 
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing documents, reports and contracts. 
  • Liaise with internal departments (finance, logistics, customer service) to ensure seamless order fulfilment. 
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Process and track orders, follow up on outstanding items and update customers accordingly. 
  • Prepare invoices and assist in credit control when required. 
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and client communications for the sales team. 
  • Generate and maintain regular sales performance reports and dashboards for management. 

 

Skills & Experience 

  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role. 
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (ForceManager experience highly desirable). 
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal. 
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. 

 

Desirable Attributes 

  • Experience working in a B2B sales or technical sales environment. 
  • Comfortable producing and analysing sales data and reports. 
  • Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
