Job Description:
Part-time SENDCO Teacher – 3 days per week, starting January 2026We are seeking a dedicated SENDCO Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. - Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school
- Support staff in identifying and meeting the needs of pupils with SEND
- Develop and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals
- Ensure compliance with statutory SEND requirements
- Provide training and guidance to teaching and support staff
- Contribute to whole-school development and inclusion strategies
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a SENDCO or in a SEND-focused role
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
