Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll contribute to a wide range of technical projects, working alongside an experienced engineering team to design mechanical components and systems using modern tools and technologies. You’ll gain hands-on experience producing manufacture-ready drawing packs, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation, while supporting new developments, upgrades, and ongoing projects.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll:

  • Work alongside experienced engineers to design mechanical components and systems using modern tools and technologies.
  • Gain hands-on experience producing manufacture-ready drawing packs, Bills of Materials, and technical documentation.
  • Support new developments, upgrades, and ongoing projects, contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Learn about design processes, project close-out activities, and sourcing/value engineering within a professional engineering environment.

 

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who:

  • Has a strong interest in engineering design and a desire to develop their skills.
  • Is keen to learn and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with CAD software — training will be provided where needed.
  • Pays attention to detail and enjoys tackling technical challenges.
  • Has at least 1 year of industry experience.
  • Holds a degree in Engineering (or equivalent).

 

Desirable but not essential:

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP software.
