• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and transition to secondary school
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Is confident in supporting pupils through SATs preparation
• Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with families
