We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Liverpool-based team, working across a diverse portfolio of build and refurbishment projects within the commercial and public sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective projects from inception through to completion.

• Manage all cost and commercial aspects of assigned construction and refurbishment projects.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.

• Conduct cost planning and value engineering exercises throughout design development.

• Oversee procurement, including subcontractor tendering and contract negotiation.

• Provide ongoing cost reporting and financial management to ensure projects are delivered on budget.

• Assess and certify subcontractor payments and variations.

• Prepare and agree final accounts.

• Liaise with clients, project managers, contractors, and design teams to maintain smooth project delivery.

• Ensure all work complies with company standards, contracts, and health & safety requirements.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience (intermediate/senior roles considered).

• Proven background in both new build and refurbishment projects.

• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficient in cost management software and MS Office.

• Membership of RICS (or working towards) desirable.
