Job Description:

Project Manager – Large Format / Retail Displays
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 benefits

We’re partnered with a well-established creative manufacturing business that works with major retail brands to design, produce and deliver eye-catching window and in-store display solutions.

The business pride themselves as a creative production house who can deliver complex, one-off projects to a highly diverse client base.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the Projects Director.

This role would suit a Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager ready to take the next step, or a Production Supervisor / Manager from a similar business looking to move into a more client-facing, commercially focused direction.

This could be the ideal opportunity to fast-track your development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Within the role you’ll act as the key link between clients, production teams, and suppliers – overseeing the lifecycle from initial brief through to installation and ensuring every project lands on time, on budget and to the expected standard.

This is an office-based role with travel to client sites when required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and review client briefs to understand requirements and scope
  • Develop project options, quotations, and realistic timelines
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Produce accurate and profitable quotations
  • Plan production schedules and coordinate workloads to meet key deadlines
  • Oversee prototype builds and production, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Conduct quality checks before dispatch
  • Organise surveys, installation schedules and supporting documentation
  • Prepare detailed installation packs and coordinate logistics with clients and fitters

Key Skills & Attributes

  • An understanding of the manufacturing and production processes associated with creative retail display projects
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills
  • Confident communicator who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-driven, proactive, and calm under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport (essential for site visits)
  • Excellent customer service approach and relationship-building capability
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt quickly
  • Fully computer literate

Benefits

£35,000 – £40,000 salary plus benefits including casual dress, on-site parking, sick pay, company pension and more.
