Maintenance Engineer - Leeds - £53,500 - Shifts (4 week rotation of days and nights)

You will help keep modern production lines running safely and smoothly. Your work will ensure equipment performs at its best and supports high-quality products every day.

What you’ll do

  • Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on production machinery
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve technical issues
  • Follow all safety, quality and operational procedures
  • Complete equipment inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Support installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment
  • Provide technical guidance to production teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

What you’ll bring

  • Experience as an Engineering Technician in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery
  • Confident problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals, drawings and schematics
  • Competent with relevant software and digital tools
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Level 3 NVQ, HNC/HND or City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Engineering
  • Industry certifications (desirable)
  • Forklift licence (advantageous)
