SEND Teaching Assistant – Part-time, starting ASAP until December 2025This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school environment. • Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, both in class and during individual sessions
• Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the teacher and SENCO as required
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing practices across the school

Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school setting
• Strong understanding of strategies to support pupils with diverse needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
• Committed to promoting inclusion and safeguarding children
• Flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
