Job Description:

  • Team Teach Support Staff
  • Primary School
  • Ealing, West London
  • Full-time/Part-time opportunities available
  • Start Date: Flexible

We are currently recruiting experienced Support Staff with a valid Team Teach qualification to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs and who can help promote a calm, safe, and positive learning environment.

The Role

In this role you will work within the school’s support staff team, to support pupils across the school who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and behavioural or emotional regulation difficulties.

At times, pupils may become dysregulated, and you may be required to use Team Teach-approved physical intervention techniques when absolutely necessary to ensure safety. The school places strong emphasis on preventative strategies, clear communication, and restorative practice, ensuring all interventions are carried out with care, respect, and professionalism.

Your role will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with identified needs, helping them to access learning and develop social and emotional skills.
  • Using de-escalation strategies and Team Teach principles to manage challenging behaviour safely and effectively.
  • Supporting teaching staff in implementing personalised learning and behaviour support plans.
  • Promoting inclusion and helping pupils build positive relationships with their peers.
  • Contributing to a nurturing, consistent, and structured classroom environment.

The School

This two-form entry primary school is committed to inclusion and learning for all. Pupils benefit from a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum, while staff work collaboratively to foster confidence, creativity, and resilience in every child. The school also has an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) supporting up to 24 pupils with Communication and Interaction needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

There is a strong sense of community throughout the school, where staff are valued, supported, and encouraged to continue their professional development. The site is easily accessible by public transport, with Northolt Station nearby, and parking available for staff.

If you hold a current Team Teach qualification and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
