We are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for daily supply roles across schools in Collier Row and the surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible. This opportunity is within a network of inclusive and supportive schools that prioritise the individual needs of every pupil. • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Support pupils with personal care needs, where required
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with SENCOs and other professionals to implement EHCPs

Ideal Candidate for SEND Teaching Assistant Roles

• Relevant SEND or Teaching Assistant qualifications
• Proven experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as SEND Teaching Assistants
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
