Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nottingham

Shifts: Panama Days & Nights 

Salary: £55,515

We’re partnering with a leading UK food producer to find a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their high performing site in Nottingham. About the Role

You’ll play a key part in maintaining production efficiency across a modern manufacturing facility, delivering high-quality engineering support and ensuring all equipment runs safely and effectively. This position requires a logical, professional approach, strong workmanship, and the ability to adapt quickly to operational needs.

 Shift Pattern

Days – 6am to 6pm

  • Week A: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Week B: Wednesday, Thursday

Nights – 6pm to 6am

  • Week C: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Week D: Wednesday, Thursday

 Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs to high engineering standards.

  • Complete corrective actions and accurately record all work on the site’s CMMS.

  • Maintain strong attention to detail, ensuring thorough analysis and reporting.

  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Build effective working relationships across all site functions.

 Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing setting.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
