Oil Service and Breakdown Engineer - Somerset

We are working with a maintenance and property services company to recruit a self employed Oil Service and Breakdown Engineer in the Somerset area to do servicing and breakdowns in social housing properties for 4-6 months on a busy contract.

Paid per service and for repairs the rate will be hourly:

• £24 per service/ per hour using company van 
• £26.50 per service/ per hour using own van

 Oil Service and Breakdown Engineer Job Role:

• Planned servicing and maintenance of oil-fired boilers
• Diagnosing and repairing faults
• Dealing with customers daily providing excellent customer service
• Driving to various properties
• Emergency breakdown visits
• Out of hours rota

Oil Service and Breakdown Engineer Requirements:

• Oil qualification essential
• Domestic Gas Engineer qualifications/ Gas Safe Card - desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Dealing with customers daily
• Full UK driving license
