KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing starting January 2026This is an excellent opportunity for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a school that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment. • Provide one-to-one and small group support for KS1 pupils, including those with SEND
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
• Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work flexibly across KS1 year groups and adapt to varying needs
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing practices across the school

Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with KS1 pupils is essential
• Proven experience supporting children with SEND
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent) is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing requirements
• Committed to promoting inclusion and safeguarding children
