Purchasing Administrator

Watford  Up to £27,500
Full-time Permanent

My client, a well-established business within the engineering/manufacturing sector, is looking for a proactive Purchasing Administrator to join their supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their purchasing or supply chain career who wants long-term stability and development.


What you’ll be doing
  • Raising purchase orders and processing confirmations

  • Liaising with suppliers on pricing, lead times and deliveries

  • Updating the internal system with accurate order and stock information

  • Supporting the Purchasing Manager with daily procurement tasks

  • Chasing outstanding orders and resolving delivery issues

  • Helping maintain stock levels to support production

  • Providing general support across the purchasing function


What we’re looking for
  • Some experience or interest in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain

  • Great organisation and communication skills

  • Comfortable working with data and learning new systems

  • A proactive and reliable approach

  • Enjoys working collaboratively with different teams

  • Manufacturing or engineering exposure is helpful but not essential
