History Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from January 2026The school provides a calm and supportive environment where pupils feel safe and valued. Pupils benefit from strong pastoral care and a curriculum designed to help them thrive both academically and personally.Duties as History Teacher:
  • Deliver high-quality History lessons tailored to pupils with anxiety and social challenges
  • Plan and adapt resources to support individual learning requirements
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour strategies
  • Work closely with support staff and external professionals to meet pupils’ needs
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
Ideal History Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND or social/emotional needs
  • Strong subject knowledge in History across Key Stages
  • Ability to differentiate lessons and engage learners effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
