1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time, Starting ASAP
This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a KS2 pupil with additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the pupil can access learning and make progress in a supportive and inclusive environment.Duties as 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Provide tailored one-to-one support for a KS2 pupil with SEND
• Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
• Support the pupil’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs
• Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent support
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Ideal 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally in a primary setting
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with additional needs
• Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupils
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
