PE Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary position starting January 2026This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated PE Teacher to join a school that values inclusivity and high standards. The school promotes a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their best academically and personally. Strong leadership and committed staff work together to ensure pupils feel supported and motivated to succeed.Duties as PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Promote health, fitness, and teamwork through a varied curriculum
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching PE in secondary settings
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
- Commitment to promoting physical education and well-being
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection requirements
